iPieta for Android differs from that for the iPhone: (1) Android does not support an app of this size; therefore it must be produced as a family of apps. (2) The Android version uses the menu button to quickly and effectively navigate within the app.

Currently only the basic iPieta module is published. It contains the following:

Clementine Vulgate and Douay-Rheim Bibles, numerous prayers, Baltimore Catechisms 1-3 (original), Catechism of Christian Doctrine (promulgated by Pope St. Pius X), the Roman Catechism, the Catechism of St. Thomas Aquinas, the Novus Ordo Calendar with the Gospel and readings (except for the psalms) drawn from the Douay-Rheims Bible and the corresponding Traditional (Tridentine) Calendar.

Bookmarking and Searching is not implemented yet, but we plan to implement these features as time and energy permits. We also hope to implement free audio.

We also plan to publish other modules so the iPieta family of Android apps will have similar content to iPieta on the iPhone. All modules will sell for $1.
